Dry needling is a technique that we use along side Osteopathic treatment in order to treat musculoskeletal disorders such as trigger points, chronic muscle tension, muscle strains, scar tissue… but can also be used for pain relief.
It is called “dry” needling as we are not injecting any fluids. We use a thin and flexible sterile needle to penetrates the skin in order to stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscles and connective tissues. This allows us to reach certain muscle area that are harder to reach with just soft tissue techniques.
